About Bryan.

Bryan Hamman, a Council of Science Editors member, has edited medical and dental research manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals for over 25 years. His master's degree in science and CELTA training give him an unusually precise feel for both the technical content and the English — not just grammar, but whether a finding is being stated accurately.
Bryan has worked with researchers across Southeast and East Asia — from Thailand, Japan, China, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. From 2000 he served as in-house editor at the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University for 13 years, embedded alongside researchers from first draft through peer review. Since returning to Canada he continues that work remotely.
